In Hyderabad, a 26-year-old law student and finance company employee named Adokshaja, alias Rinki, along with six accomplices, were arrested for attempting to falsely implicate her ex-boyfriend, Shravan Kumar, in a drug case. The motive behind the elaborate plan was Rinki’s desire for revenge following her separation from Shravan.

Rinki, in collaboration with her friend Deepak Mohan, a 30-year-old techie, and Yashwant Sai, a 21-year-old private employee, orchestrated the scheme. They purchased 40 grams of ganja powder for Rs 4,000 from Mangalhat area. Executing their plan, Rinki invited Shravan to a park near Ameerpet, and later, they all headed to a pub in Banjara Hills.

Inside the pub, Rinki contacted a police constable known to her, falsely alleging that Shravan was involved in selling ganja. She provided the car’s registration number, claiming ganja packets were stored inside. Acting on the information, the police discovered five packets, each containing eight grams of ganja, in Shravan’s car.

Shravan, detained and questioned by the police, explained that he suspected others who had accompanied him concealed the ganja. Subsequently, Rinki and her six friends—Deepak Mohan, Yashwant Sai, Dixit Reddy, Praneet Topi, Surya Teja, and Mahender Yadav—were arrested by Jubilee Hills police for their roles in the fabricated drug case.
